Job Description
SPN is seeking an electrical engineer to assist with engineering projects
Fonctions
We desire to increase our service offering in realizing engineering projects related to control and drive modernisation for machines in industrial sectors.
- Actively collaborate with SPN project team members and our clients
- Participate in the definition, design, installation and commissioning of projects that have been awarded to us
- Effectively use the design tools already available and suggest improvement changes if necessary
- Carry out technical studies on the production equipment of our customers
Qualifications :
- Practical knowledge in the field of machine controls and motor drives
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of programming software for programmable logic controllers (PLC) and operating interface configuration softwares (HMI)
- Knowledge of MSProject, Excel, Word, AutoCad software
- Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Knowledge and / or work experience in the Pulp and Paper sector would be an asset
