WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a junior automation and controls technician, you’ll work alongside experts and develop skills that are vital to your career. You will:
ü Participate in the study of industrial equipment control systems and identify the elements and signals to be monitored;
ü Analyze PLC and control system programs;
ü Participate in the design, configuration and installation of data acquisition systems;
ü Use automated data analysis technologies to detect anomalies;
ü Diagnose anomalies, propose solutions and support customers in implementing them;
ü Ensure communication and follow-up with customers.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We want to work with motivated, inquisitive young graduates who are ready to take on challenges and grow with us! You have:
ü A college diploma (DEC) in electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation and controls or related field.
ü Knowledge of PLC programming.
ü Understanding of low-voltage electrical distribution (600V).
ü Understanding of industrial control systems: pneumatics, hydraulics and electronics.
ü Interest in data analysis applied to automation.
ü Good command of Autocad tools, MS Office Suite.
ü Initiative, ability to learn quickly and teamwork skills.
ü Fluency in French and/or English (spoken and written)
ü Available for occasional travel in North America.
